A crisis is an opportunity to recognise the strongest…
Recently we have dealt with sequential crises. It might be that we experienced either being a witness or being placed in a shockingly suppressed environment.
I observed the “let us go with the flow” common pattern of the behaviour. And the most surprising was the fact that modern leaders dictated such a model. Everything mentioned led to a stagnation both of mental and physical nature.
But what is the most important – especially under such circumstances – is to be able to recognise the strongest: in a business unit, in a team, at a meeting.

The strongest can be detected by the attitude combined with the will and spirit.
And that is hardly possible to identify by psychometrics.
It is a widespread practice not to let them speak up. But you must give them the freedom to express themselves. Why? Because it is a “distracting factor,” which generates “the burning platform” for a change.
Instead of the above-mentioned perception of the strongest personalities, it is more beneficial to create openness for the expression of the strongest thoughts. Even though those can appear to be uncomfortable – they shall indicate “a search for a solution.”
That is exactly what is extremely important in any crisis – to discover alternatives to existence. And only the strongest can lead to them.

Discover the strongest in your team.
If they are not there – find them and establish the environment for them to thrive. They will be the “indicators of possible outcomes” at any unprecedented time.
