Canada, the second-largest country in the world by landmass, is known for its vast landscapes, multicultural society, and polite citizens. Canadians are as diverse and dynamic as the country itself.
Cultural Diversity.
Canada is a multicultural mosaic. This cultural diversity is evident in Canadian cities, especially in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, where neighbourhoods are often defined by their ethnic heritage.
Values and Social Norms.
Canadians are mostly exceptionally polite. Politeness, respect, and courtesy are deeply ingrained in Canadian society. That is commonly reflected in everyday interactions. Canada is a country where apology is a common norm although there is no reason for saying “sorry” for minor inconveniences. Canadians do value diversity, inclusion, and equality, with a strong emphasis on human rights and social justice.
Political and Global Influence.
Canada is known for its stable political system and strong democratic values. Canadians possess strong national values of peace, justice, and human rights. Therefore, they are often invited to execute a mission of peacekeepers and mediators on the international stage.
Business Communications.
Being considered a well-educated nation, Canadians give a great impression of the great businesspeople to deal with. They are united and structured. The Canadian approach to building up trust while conducting business is remarkable. It takes quite some time to establish a communication bridge yet when an opponent is acknowledged to a circle it is difficult to exclude him/her from a communication process afterwards. Politeness remains a ground soil for initiating communication, especially in the business environment.
